You’re not interested in riches or glory. Instead, you seek the thrill of adventure. To explore the unknown, to face untold perils and emerge victorious despite the odds.
A hero risks life and limb in the pursuit of fame and glory. Eager to take up their sword against the vile inhabitants of the dungeon, they are richly rewarded for doing so.

Malaghast, The Varghoul
A Varghoul emerges from the shadows, eyes glowing scarlet beneath a pallid brow. With immense effort you break eye contact, shaking off his hypnotic stare. This must be Malaghast, one of the six avatars purported to carry the Ka of the Eternal Flame. Mind once again your own, you prepare for combat.
You are a battle-hardened warrior who lives or dies by the sword. Well versed in the art of combat, there are few who can match your skill with a blade. Having already fought many of the land’s foul denizens, you’ve gained an extensive knowledge of their strengths and weaknesses. This could prove useful against the many monsters that now inhabit the citadel.
You’ve been told that faith can move mountains. You care little for such grandiose claims, for you’ve only ever needed enough to swing a sword with which to smite your enemies. Knowing that your faith has served you well in the past, you see no reason why it should not do so again, on this most perilous of quests.
Though an accomplished fighter, your previous adventures have taught you that not all enemies can be bested with steel. You’ve therefore devoted much of your time to the study of magic, especially that which can be used to enhance your combat training.
Bear, Enraged
Rent canvas and scattered belongings litter a hastily deserted campsite. Stepping into the clearing, you are about to investigate further when a wild-eyed grizzly charges from the brush. Eyes ablaze with feral fury, it rears up on mammoth haunches, its thick claws sweeping down to eviscerate its newfound prey.
You are a Justiciar, an officer of the King’s Court. Tasked with the execution of a band of notorious criminals, you venture into Sharwood Forest determined to deliver swift justice.

You seek to cleanse the forest of its foul corruption and prevent the Cradle of Shadow from escaping the borders of Sharwood Forest.
